IC; -Walking up the steps to the school, Ashton adjusted his bag over his shoulder as he went, flicking hair out of his eyes. He could feel in his bones today would be a good day and couldn't help but smile as he neared his locker, green eyes bright with happiness. Entering his code into the lock, he opened the metal door to his locker and slug his bag in, not bothering to get his things together yet; he still had time before the first bell to eat breakfast.

IC; -Ashton himself was a steady-minded, yet happy soul, with what seemed like barely any care in the world. As he headed down towards the cafeteria, he spotted Josh and smiled a little wider. His friends had been talking a lot about the brown-haired boy and had even roped Ashton into trying to talk to him. Being the shy type of kid he was, though, it would be a while until he actually plucked up the courage to try.

IC; -To be completely honest with himself, Ashton was beginning to feel suffocated with how much attention he was getting. It was getting overwhelming and as he sat at lunch, flanked by how ever many people on either side, he was getting to feel claustrophobic, too.

-Ashton had been very excited for his first day back, but reluctant as well. He, however, had his headphones on as he walked, his bang slung over his shoulder, and his belly full of oatmeal and was ready to face all his demons. He recounted the things in his bangs multiple times in his head but knew that he was forgetting something. Unable to put a name on it, he paused and turned back, narrowing his eyes as he watched and saw.. "Marshall?" Green eyes blinking wide, he gave a small smile and raised his hand, saying a little louder- "Marshall!"
